Another excellent collection of short stories by Alice Munro who knows the needs and thoughts of the people who live in this district of Canada, which is the author's home country. She writes about people who are isolated from one another not only by the space between houses, but also by their own particular feelings of wanting lots of privacy without interruptions of neighbors.
