Nach einer Skizze zur 'Anthropologie des Alten Testaments' vor und nach H. W. Wolff werden anhand der Aspekte Begriff der Person, Sphäre des Sozialen und Wahrnehmung der Welt Grundfragen alttestamentlicher Anthropologie erörtert. Während für den alttestamentlichen Personbegriff der Leib-/'Seele'-Zusammenhang konstitutiv ist und die menschliche Lebenswelt ('Sphäre des Sozialen') im alten Israel vom Gedanken der Gemeinschaftsbezogenheit geprägt wird, beansprucht das alttestamentliche Weltbild die Autorität, die Wirklichkeit im Ganzen zu strukturieren und Interpretamente für die Lebensgestaltung des Einzelnen bereit zu stellen. Den Schluß bilden Überlegungen zur Theologischen Anthropologie und ihrem Verständnis des Menschen als 'Mensch Gottes'. According to a draft of the 'Anthropology of the New Testament' done before and after the works of H. Wolff, the author discusses basic questions pertaining to Old Testament anthropology based on the concept of the person, the social sphere and the perception of the world. Whereas the body-soul context is essential for theconcept of person in the Old Testament, and the human world (social sphere)in ancient Israel was heavily influenced by the idea that the individual isalways a part of the entire community, the world view in the Old Testament maintains that it is entitled to structure reality as a whole and to provide suggestions for interpreting the way the individual organizes his life. In conclusion, the author reflects on theological anthropology and its understanding of man as a "man of God".
