This paper discusses empirical studies concerning eschatological beliefs of young people. On the one hand 69% of young people assume, that there is not just nothing beyond an individual life, on the other hand 30% agree to the statement that human persons cannot have any concrete eschatological idea. Furthermore it is interesting, that there is hardly any difference between the attitudes of Protestant and Catholic young people, but a difference between Christian, atheistic and Muslim schoolchildren or students.
