Beyond these standard elements, you can also create custom web components to further simplify the process of building and maintaining web applications. This course explains how to make custom encapsulations, imports, templates, and built-in elements by using web component specifications and following web standards. Joe Marini starts the course by going into HTML templates, which provide a browser-native way to declare sections of HTML markup that will be used frequently in your app. Next, he covers HTML imports, explaining how to use them and create reusable modules.
