The essenz of Bibliodrama has already been tried to describe with quite different keywords: Process (Fallner/Warns), Playing before the Dark God (Laeuchli), a movement and a hermeneutic approach of bringing biblical texts into play (Naurath/Pohl-Patalong), an existential path of experience and understanding (Paulus), something similar to retreats and yet different (Radeck), Body and Bible (Krondorfer), something in the field of tension between psychodrama and liturgy (Stangier), an open program of an interaction process (Martin) and much more. I try to open up Bibliodrama processes as a sequence of holistic encounters. Encounters in some dimensions: I- Text, I - Group and Group - Text. Understanding Bibliodrama from the viewpoint of the phenomenon of encounter means entering into a great tradition and making Bibliodrama plausible.
