Nachdem in anderen westlichen Industriestaaten Computer beim Lehren und Lernen eingesetzt worden sind, beginnen auch in unseren Schulen Lehrer und Lehrerinnen Unterrichts-Software auszuprobieren. Was finden sie vor? Welche pädagogische Qualität können sie erwarten? Anhand der Erfahrungen und Ergebnisse aus einem Projekt zur Bewertung von 241 Lehr-/Lernprogrammen für die naturwissenschaftlichen Fächer und für den Sachunterricht wird untersucht, wie pädagogische Qualität von Unterrichts-Software zu ermitteln und zukünftig zu erreichen ist. Der Beitrag mündet in Folgerungen für Anwender, Fortbilder und Entwickler.
After the introduction of Computers into the teaching process in several of the Western industrial nations, German teachers, too, have begun to experiment with educational Software. What will they encounter on the Software market? What pedagogical quality can they expect the products to have? Based on the experiences and results of a project concerned with the assessment of 241 teaching-learning programs for instruction in biology, chemistry, physics, general science (primary level), and informatics, the author inquires into possible criteria for the assessment and achievement of the pedagogical quality of educational Software. He then draws conclusions for potential users, for teacher education, and for the development of educational Software.
