Der Beitrag geht von der für den deutschen Kontext charakteristischen "beruflichen Ordnung" aus, die sich amÜbergang zum20. Jahrhundert herausgebildet hat. Für ihre Stabilität und Dynamik ist die enge Verbindung von Strukturen der Berufsbildung und Berufskonzept grundlegend. Im Beitrag werden daher die strukturellen und konzeptionellen Grundlagen der beruflichen Bildung in Deutschland (Duales System, Beruflichkeit) mit aktuellen Entwicklungen auf europäischer Ebene (EQF/ECVET, employability / Beschäftigungsfähigkeit) konfrontiert und übergreifend in ihrer Bedeutung für die "berufliche Ordnung" analysiert. Im Zentrum steht dabei das Zusammenspiel von einerseits strukturellen und konzeptionellen Aspekten sowie andererseits nationaler und europäischer Ebene.
Starting point is the "vocational system" typical of the German context which emerged at the turn of the twentieth century. Its stability and dynamics are based on the close link between structures of vocational training and the concept of vocation. Thus, the author confronts structural and conceptual fundamentals of vocational training in Germany (dual system, professionality) with recent developments on the European level (EQF/ECVET, employability) and analyzes both as to their significance for the "vocational system". The focus is on the interplay of structural and conceptual aspects on the one hand and of the national and the European level on the european level on the other.
