Intercultural Theology analyses and considers variants of Christianity on different continents and their culturally and contextually determined ways of expression, missionary forms and interreligious positioning. Intercultural theology challenges dogmatic theology to approach new topics, perspectives and questions while sticking to its central task of balancing one's own history of theology and tradition with Christian positions from different contexts and deliberately asking and discussing normative questions.
