Evangelische Gottesdienstlehre heute ein Überblick
Zeitschriftenartikel

The essay describes the recent debates in the fields of homiletics and liturgics under the umbrella term "evangelical homiletics" and demands the building of stronger relations between those two fields of study in the future. The author does this by considering evangelical liturgics in relation to catholic liturgics, which in recent publications uses die category of the "commemoration of the passover mystery" to describe the specific aspects of liturgics. In contrast to this, evangelical discourses rather tend to sum up mainly aesthetical aspects under the categories of staging and theatrality. Finally, die article recommends stronger cooperation between practical, historical and fundamental homiletics as well as taking a glance beyond the limitations set by one's confession and language.
