Zur Übersetzung und Interpretation von Mt 28,19f
Today, Mt 28:19 is usually translated "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (New Revised Standard Version). Many interpreters understand these words of the risen Jesus as a request to baptize all men. The article shows that the common translation and its widespread explanation is inappropriate, and proposes an alternative reading.
