Ethnologische mikrokontextuelle Studien zeigen die Verflechtung der kirchlichen mit der kommunalen Gemeinde auf. Transformationsprozesse bewegen damals wie heute auch die Dorf-Gesellschaft. Wie wird mit ehemaliger Stasi-Tätigkeit kirchlicher Mitarbeitender umgegangen? Wie präg(t)en ehemalige persönliche Verhältnisbestimmungen zur Kirche den Lebensweg? Welche positiven und negativen Folgen hatte die Friedliche Revolution - und für wen? Und inwiefern ist die Kirche ein Teil von gegenwärtig tabuisierten Konflikten vor Ort? Der Beitrag verdeutlicht die Notwendigkeit interdisziplinärer Forschung in Bezug auf das Forschungsgebiet der kirchlichen Praxis in der DDR.
Ethnological micro-contextual studies show how intervowen the local church and the village community were. The village society was moved by processes of social transformation at that time no less than they do today. How does one deal with the former cooperation of Church employees with the state security service? How did and do former personal relations to the church shape the course of life for individuals and groups? Which positive and negative results did the peaceful revolution have - and for whom? And in which ways does the church play a part in contemporary local conflicts, particularly in relation to taboo issues? The article demonstrates the necessity for interdisciplinary research on the times of the GDR.
