February 24, 2022 marks a "turning point" that confronts both peace ethics and military chaplaincy with new questions within a post-heroic society. Unambiguous answers are hard to find, so it is important to bring conflicting positions into constructive discussion with each other. The philosopher of religion Georg Picht suggests how this can be done with his concept of critical solidarity.
