Prenatal Diagnosis - a Topic in Pastoral Counseling. Prenatal diagnosis leads inevitably to ethical conflicts. The pastoral counselor in such a situation must be ethically informed and listen carefully to the mother. Compared to other forms of ethical reasoning and of counseling, here the dimensions of guilt and tragedy, ritual and justification can be touched.
