The article describes the current rediscovery of local social environments, their dynamics, their participatory character, and the utopia of the completely inclusive social environment. Christian congregations cultivate the idea of inclusion and send signals of distancing as well. Religious resources also help to produce social capital; moreover there is also a "faithful capital" involved with its interest in justice in communities.
