Heideggers' theory of subjectivism criticizes modem consciousness for its arrogant claim to be the stage and venue of all phenomena. Recent theological attempts to analyze the concept of revelation in terms of "interpretation" and "perception" suffer from the same misconception. In contrast Trowitzsch follows Barth and Bonhoeffer in describing die human nature of Jesus Christ in terms of the Christological doctrine of an- and enhypostasis as the differentiated space of revelation, which as such includes human participation in the event of revelation.
