The general public atmosphere of misconceptions and generalisations about each other is an obstacle also in talks between groups from a Church and from a Mosque. The article points out to the importance of good planning in preparation for first contacts. The content and intention of a recent proclamation of 138 Muslim representative in 2007 in reaction to the speech of the Pope should be noticed by a wider public.
