When things that are taken for granted shift and possible alternatives are in the air, the question of reclevancc is increasingly raised. Thus factors of rapprochement and appropriation come into focus anew. The article asks what it means to communicate the gospel in the focus of relevance and which challenges result from it in a practical-theological perspective.
